Although I haven’t had time to create an animatic prior to hand in this storyboard has taken me a pretty long time and I think that it clearly depicts how each scene will be animated. Once submission is over I will start to get to work on this project right away and make sure Hannah is onboard. As producer and Director I’m going to relook over the Schedule I made and possibly tweak a few things with Hannah’s feedback to make sure everything is working for eachother.

Development
This week i have started to develop mine and Hannah’s storyboard, I’m pretty pleased with how it’s turning out. While I’m working I make sure to reference my mood board and colour schemes as I’m trying to picture the backgrounds at the same time as working on the storyboard itself. I’m really enjoying this process it feels like I’m creating a film from scratch and can visually see the progress and the story which is a great feeling. So development wise this means I am on track to have the storyboard and our background concepts sort of covered in one go and then Hannah can work on refining a few of the backgrounds. I have also changed the main characters design, I wasn’t feeling it completely anymore and liked the idea of having eyes on the hat and a smaller flower lamp. I sent the designs to Hannah and she thought they were great so again I could move forward and put the new character design in the storyboard.
Strengths
I think my strengths have been pushing this project forward, with the ok from Hannah and no feedback as to change anything so it was up to me to take control and just work with what I have and create the storyboard with enough detail for it to be really clear for me and Hannah to animate from.
Areas to Develop
Over Christmas I need to make sure to fully finish the storyboards and to keep hannah up to date with my progress as well as create our design document.

This is my storyboard for the collaboration Project so far, I’m really confident in the clarity and scene direction at the moment although I know things can change further along in production. Once I have completed a set of  I forward them to Hannah to keep her informed on whats happening and the progress I’m making.

Development
This week I attempted to envision our animation and before storyboarding it I decided to type it out how I would visually see it which means including camera angles and scene changes. This took longer than expected as it really was like picturing a film from scratch as up till this point we didn’t have a clear narrative as to what will happen once the main character enters the ‘underworld’. Once I had typed out everything and was happy with it I sent it to Hannah for feedback and she said she loved it so I will now focus on putting the text into a detailed storyboard.
Strengths
I’m happy with my progress, as I have been the one plotting out the story and scenes it did take longer for me to fully figure out how I wanted to include all the characters and character interaction, as well as making sure emotions and feelings were being translated through clearly to the audience.
Areas to Develop
next week my only aim for this project is to start working on a detailed and easily understandable storyboard as it needs to translate over what I have shown Hannah as well as making sure she can clearly understand the scenes so she can work from them
